Before entering the world of fashion, Jess established a successful career as writer in the advertising industry, creating work for brands like Procter & Gamble, IKEA, and Kellogg's. In pursuing a new path as a stylist, she studied under some of the industry's most notable fashion & celebrity stylists, assisting on projects for Vogue, GQ, GARAGE,Allure, FENTY, and The Grammy Awards. Today, she applies her creative vision to designing and styling memorable looks for the screen, stage, and print. Her sense of style draws influence from music, history, film, pop culture, and street fashion from around the world. Jess's work caught the attention of both peers and prominent industry figures early on, earning her two CAFTCAD (Canadian Alliance of Film and Television Costume Arts and Design) nominations and press mentions in Nylon, 1966 Magazine, and more.
